The family-owned and operated vineyard is located in Wilyabrup, in the heart of the Margaret River, Western Australia. The name 'Jilyara' was inspired by the abundance of bees in the vineyard and derives from the word 'Djilyaro', meaning 'place of bees' in the indigenous Noongar language. ‘Djilyaro' was also the original name of the property.

From the great grandfathers on both sides, down through their family tree, all the men have William within their name. One of the favourite sections of the Jilyara vineyard is also known as ‘William’, to honour both their past and their future – so 'Williams' Block' became the appropriate name for their premium wine of the portfolio. The labels feature a detailed scientific illustration of the apis mellifera bees found on the vineyard.

Continuing on this bee theme, it was interpreted on the Heath Road labels through a series of contemporary patterns referencing landscape, honeycomb and the honey droplets. The banded graphics are accented by warm honey toned gold foiling, embossing and gloss high-build.
